Third-Place Finish at Scottish Women’s Amateur Championship

Hannah delivered a standout performance at the 2025 Scottish Women’s Amateur Championship, held from May 23 to 25 at the renowned Western Gailes Golf Club in Ayrshire. Navigating the challenges of a classic links course and variable coastal weather, she secured a commendable third-place finish.

In the stroke-play qualifiers, Hannah posted rounds of 73 and 74, advancing confidently into the match-play stages. She then defeated Caitlin M Boa 3 & 2 in the Round of 16 and overcame Rosie Maguire 3 & 1 in the quarterfinals. Her journey concluded with a narrow 1-up loss to Freya Russell in the semifinals, securing her third-place standing.

The championship unfolded under mostly dry conditions after the first day with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 16°C, but the persistent coastal winds were a defining factor. Westerly gusts reaching up to 30 km/h challenged players' shot control and course management.
