First Collegiate Title at St Andrews

Hannah claimed her first collegiate individual title at the St Andrews Links Collegiate, sharing the honours with worlds number one amateur Farah O’Keefe after two rounds on the Jubilee Course.

Playing in her third tournament for Washington, Hannah opened with a six-under-par 66. An eagle at the third and five birdies, including one at the last, gave her the outright lead after the first round.

Wind and rain made Tuesday a very different test. Hannah returned a 76 to finish on 142, two under par, alongside O’Keefe. They were the only players to finish the individual competition below par and became the event’s first co-champions.

Scottish Golf reported that Hannah holed a four-foot bogey putt on the final green to secure her share of the title. The finish delivered a memorable home-soil milestone in the opening months of her Washington career.
