Hannah Earns Her First Big Ten Golfer of the Week Award

Hannah received her first Big Ten Women’s Golfer of the Week award on 24 September, following an impressive start to her University of Washington career.

The honour came after Hannah shared second place at the Ben Connell Ram Classic, where her 210 total, six under par, helped Washington finish runner-up in the team competition.

It was only her second collegiate tournament. A week earlier, she had made her Husky debut at Chambers Bay, finishing tied 23rd after an under-par closing round.

The award followed a quick progression across her opening two starts: an under-par final round on debut, then three rounds at par or better in Colorado. That sequence gave Hannah both an individual result near the top of the leaderboard and a contribution to Washington’s second-place team finish.

The award added a conference milestone to Hannah’s first month with Washington, ahead of the team’s return to Scotland for the St Andrews Links Collegiate.
