The championship followed its traditional format, beginning with 36 holes of stroke play qualifying, before the leading players progressed into the match play stages to compete for the national title. Across both phases, the event brought together Scotland’s leading female amateurs, alongside a strong international field.

Hannah began the championship with a steady 73 in the opening stroke play round, followed by an excellent 69 in round two. Her second-round performance placed her comfortably inside the qualifying positions, securing her place in the match play stages of the championship.

Southerness provided a demanding links test throughout the week, with firm fairways, deep bunkering and ever-changing coastal winds testing every aspect of the players’ games. Hannah showed consistency and control during the stroke play phase, particularly in her second round where she made significant progress up the leaderboard.

Following qualification, Hannah continued her strong form into the match play stage, competing well against a high-quality field and ultimately securing a 9th-place finish overall in the championship.

Reflecting on the week, Hannah said: “It was a really good test from start to finish. I was pleased with my stroke play rounds and proud to make match play. Every round helped me learn more about my game in different conditions.”

The result adds another valuable performance to Hannah’s 2026 season and further experience in both stroke play and match play formats at national level.
